We love this city. We’re not located in the prettiest part of it, but come visit us and you’ll see that our neighbourhood is slowly changing one brick at a time.
Whenever you visit us, you have to consider the harsh realities of how difficult the lives are for the homeless and people living rough on the street. It’s heartbreaking and we often feel completely helpless as to what to do and how we can make a positive change.
We’ve met some great folks at social development and the problem is incredibly complex. But, as with most problems; time, money and determination are the solutions. The city’s UDZ (Urban Development Zone) programme is key.
